Med Student Tools for the Palm Organizer, Pocket PC, iPod and Mac

			Below are various files for use with programs like SuperMemo, HandyCards, and iFlash. They are very useful when trying to memorize huge quantities of information. We have here the versions available for Pocket PC, Palm OS, and Mac desktop (iFlash). It should be noted that for pocket PC users, some run this program more smoothly than others.

Purchase SuperMemo for Palm, PocketPC, or Windows

• Since this program is fairly complex, make sure you read the manual.
• If you are creating flash cards on your computer, you must convert the text file to a .prc file for it to work with a Palm. There is a conversion utility you may download here. This program only works with Windows.

Purchase HandyCards for Palm, PocketPC, or Windows

• The HandyCards.xla file is a plugin (addin) for excel. Just execute the .xla file. Click here to download.

Purchase iFlash for Mac

• iFlash is a program for Mac user geared towards the memorization of subject matter in multiple formats. Text, audio, and graphics can all be part of your flash cards. It is a quick, easy way to turn you class syllabi into a reviewable, accessible conglomerate of information. The decks of flash cards you create can be sorted into categories and studied using a variety of methods. The flash cards can also be exported to your iPod or other flash card programs in text file format.

In order to save some of the .txt, .pdb, and .xls files (for SM PPC, SM Palm, and Excel file) you will have to right click on the file name and select "Save File As...". The .zip files should download automatically.
