11/7/06: Play-offs!!! Victory was achieved for the talented and good-looking MS1 soccer team Friday in the University of Utah Intramural co-ed soccer playoffs. They squeaked out an overtime win against a surprisingly good MS4 team. Cort “Cortasaur” McCaughey scored first on a long arching, bending, and seeking shot in the 32nd minute to take the lead. The MS4 team tied it up with a not so arching, bending, or seeking shot in the 43rd minute. Justin “I-Wa-Socked-An-Overtime-Goal” Iwasaki dropped in a gorgeous header in overtime to seal the deal for Team Todd. The championship game against Malpratice stretched TT’s mental, physical, and emotional capacity. After two halves and an overtime of Jorge and Yau whining and moaning at every call and challenge, there was nothing to separate the two teams. With the score nil-nil, the game stretched to penalty kicks. Team Todd was perfect making four in a row, unfortunately for Malpractice they were not. Their 2nd kicker missed and their 4th kicker, Jorge, was blocked by TT’s superb keeper. PK scorers for TT included: Justin “Iwasaki” Iwasaki, The Hot Married USU Ringer Chick, Jono “Juggernaut” Gibson, and Casey “Get off my ____ MS2’s” Londer. 10/27/06: Oct 20 was a grand victory for TT confirming their place as #1 in the play-offs. Cru was looking pretty Motley after being slashed by Justin Iwasaki's sweet sweet skills. TT had there first play-off game last Fri. against the literature junkies Faust who were losers...literally. 10/13/06: Class action: Team Todd vs. Malpractice. Justice prevailed for Team Todd.
