Meet outside the front entrance and join us for a wild day at the zoo!  If you have an annual pass that allows you to admit a guest, please let Jeni know so that we can get as many MSA members as possible in for free.


Summer hours (March 1–October 31): 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (grounds close at 6:30)

Admission: $9 for adults, $7 for children (ages 3–12)

Children ages two and under are free.

Meet on the south side of the visitor’s center by the monument. Again, please let Jeni know if you have a membership that allows you to admit a guest for free or at a discounted rate. If you are interested in buying an annual pass, the Park offers half-price annual passes for students during the month of May. (You can apply your day’s admission to the price of your season pass.)


Hours: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Admission: $8 for adults, $6 for children (ages 3–11)

The Medical Student Alliance (MSA) is a group of spouses/significant others of University of Utah Medical School students. We are a chapter of the American Medical Association Alliance (AMAA), an organization for physicians’ spouses. We support the primary goals of the AMAA:

  1. 1.to assist the American Medical Association in programs that improve the health and quality of life for all people,

  2. 2.to promote health education,

  3. 3.to encourage volunteerism in activities that meet health needs, and

  4. 4.to support health-related charitable endeavors.
