What is important to you? There are programs out there for just about every interest. Some important questions you might want to ask yourself include: How much clinical exposure and patient contact do I want? Do I want to take an actual academic course or do I want more of a service-learning project? Do I want to learn another language? And if so, do I want to put forth the extra effort required to receive funding from UMED International? How many people do I want in my program? Do I want to go to a specific country or region? Am I interested in a particular specialty or health issue? How much structure do I want in my program? What are the requirements I need to fulfill to receive elective credit?
